Sixth Form Admissions for 2026
The applications are closed for September 2026. For confirmed enrolment, internal students should meet Ms Hill on GCSE results day. Any external applicants should attend the day after the results day.
Below are important dates to note are as follows:
- No further action will be needed until results day.
- Enrolment for successful internal applicants on GCSE results day
- Enrolment for successful external applications will be the following day between 9am and 12pm.
Students require at least 5 grade 9-5s at GCSE, including at least a grade 5 in both English Language and Maths. Students must also obtain a grade 6 in English Language for any essay based course, in addition to a grade 6 in a subject relevant to their A-Level choices (for example a 6 in GCSE History to study Politics). To study Maths and Science at A-Level students must have a grade 7 in those subjects at GCSE.
Internal students must apply via their school email address and you will only be able to access and submit the form once. If you have any queries after submission, please email sfgeneral@uhs.org.uk and a member of the sixth form team will be able to help you. Once the deadline has passed, the sixth form team will be in touch with individuals to offer an interview to discuss their application further.
