School Map

Secondary school is different to primary school, in that you move to different classrooms for each lesson and have a different teacher for each subject.  You will be given a timetable that runs over two weeks at a time, Week A and Week B.  The timetable shows you the subject name, the room and your teachers’ name for each period of the school day.  

It is important you make use of our online learning platform ‘DPR’ on a regular basis, checking your timetable each evening in preparation for the next school day.

How to get around the school

Our school is spread over several buildings and it will take you a while to get used to moving around the school site.  All Year 7 students will feel a bit lost at times, but any adult in the school will be able to point you in the right direction.  Sometimes you may be late to lesson, because you may have not been able to find your way and all your teachers will be aware that this may happen.  Take a look at our virtual tour on our website, so you can get to know where certain subjects take place.

To return to the Aerial View from any point, either click the “AERIAL VIEW” button in the bottom bar or the home button in the top left corner. 

The buttons in the control bar, at the bottom of the window, let you zoom-in/out, toggle full screen mode and view our aerial movie.
