A welcome message from the head
Tuesday 7th July 2026 — Year 6 Transition Day: Registration from 8.10am
We are very much looking forward to welcoming your child to Uxbridge High School. On Tuesday 7th July 2026, all of our new Year 7 students will spend the day with us as part of our Year 6 Transition Day. The day will run from 8.10am to 2.30pm.
Students are welcome to arrive from 8am and should enter through the main school gate, where they will be welcomed by staff and directed to their form groups for registration, before a welcome assembly at 8.45am.
Over the course of the day, students will get to meet their Head of Year and other key members of staff. They will spend time getting to know their Form Tutor and the other members of their class, and will experience a range of lessons. They will also find out what life at Uxbridge High School is like and have the chance to ask any questions they may have.
Parents and staff will be available from 2.15pm outside main reception to answer any questions. You can collect your child at 2.30pm. Pupils will also be allowed to make their own way home if you are happy for them to do so. Please be aware there will be no parking on the school site and we are unable to accommodate younger siblings.
What should my child wear and bring?
Your child should wear their primary school uniform. They should also bring a drink or refillable water bottle, which they can fill up on site. Lunch will take place at 11.45am. Students should bring their own packed lunch, but lunch can be provided by completing the online form below. Please note that mobile phones must be switched off and stored in bags on arrival. Uxbridge High School cannot accept responsibility for lost or damaged valuables.

Summer School — Thursday 23rd and Friday 24th July 2026

Little Shop of Horrors — School Production
We would also like to invite you and your family to our school production of Little Shop of Horrors. Performances will run on Tuesday 7th, Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th July. Information on how to purchase tickets will be shared in the coming weeks.
