Students in top 1% of the country
Wasim Jabbar and Ehtisham Imran both achieved marks for the ifs University College in Financial Studies that were in the top 1% of all 7000 students taking the qualification in the country. In recognition of this achievement they have been offered a scholarship of £750 each should they decide to continue their studies with the college by enrolling on a degree programme next summer.
Jamie Kerrisk, Curriculum Leader for Business Studies, said “This is a fantastic achievement and is testament to the hard work that both Wasim and Ehtisham have put into their studies. They have set the benchmark for future students to aspire to.”
Wasim and Ehtisham said “we are both delighted with our results and feel very privileged to be in the top 1% of the country. We are now motivated more than ever to do just as well this year.”
