Pupil Premium and catch up Funds
The pupil premium is a grant provided to schools by the DfE to reduce the achievement gap between students deemed to be disadvantaged or service children, and all other students in the school. In addition, for 2021-22 the recovery premium funding is provided by the DfE using pupil premium eligibility to provide further support to disadvantaged students.

The 16-19 tuition fund is an additional grant provided to schools by the DfE for the 2020-21 and 2021-22 academic years. This grant is to support schools in providing small group tuition to mitigate the disruption to learning experienced by sixth form students, arising from the pandemic.
The Year 7 Catch-Up Premium was a grant provided by the DfE to support Year 7 students who did not achieve the expected standard in reading or maths at the end of Key Stage 2.
