Uxbridge High School

UHS aims to provide exceptional sporting, musical, artistic and other wider curricular opportunities for every student.

Aims:

  • To provide a breadth of opportunities for our students to extend their learning beyond the remit of the classroom curriculum
  • To help close the gap between advantaged and disadvantaged students

The wide-ranging opportunities offered to our students are exceptional and cater for all groups, students and interests.  We offer a large number and variety of wider curricular clubs/activities during and after school.

We encourage participation in school, local and national competitions through our established house system, through sporting fixtures with local schools and more widely through competitions such as the UKMT and the London Mayor's Count On Us challenge.

We have a well-established and high profile Duke of Edinburgh programme at UHS which is one of the cornerstones of our enrichment provision.

We offer all students in Key Stage 3 the opportunity to complete the PiXL Edge programme across the three years, resulting in a nationally acknowledged certification.

Educational visits offer a fantastic opportunity for our students to experience an out-of-the-classroom learning environment.

UHS is always looking to enhance our enrichment opportunities and welcomes any support from the community to offer more for our students.
