World Book Day at Uxbridge High School was a vibrant celebration of literature, bringing the enchantment of books to life. Staff and students embraced the occasion enthusiastically, immersing themselves in a host of literary activities that ignited their imaginations.

The day commenced with a lively parade featuring staff dressed as beloved literary characters, ranging from the whimsical denizens of Alice in Wonderland to the enigmatic Sherlock Holmes.

A standout feature of the week was the eagerly anticipated daily Masked Reader challenge. Students enthusiastically put their detective skills to the test as they endeavoured to unveil the identity of the mysterious reader concealed behind a mask.
