POST 16 RESULTS

 

Students and staff at Uxbridge High School are delighted with this year’s sixth form results, 100% of students achieved examination success. 95% of exams entered received a grade A*- E or equivalent and 38% of the examinations were passed at the highest A*- B grades.

English, maths, further maths, fine art and Spanish were among our top performing subjects, with a majority achieving the highest A*- B grades. Students performed very strongly in other facilitating subjects, including sciences and history, opening opportunities for students to take places at top Russell Group universities.

Jefri who achieved grades A* A* A* and secured a place at Bath University said: “Thank you to Mr Kochhar, Mr Sarai and Ms Chong for moulding us into the students we are today.”

Daniel has secured a place at Loughborough University to study aeronautical engineering. Daniel said: “I’m really pleased with my results. Thank you especially to Ms Charlebois, Mr Sarai and Mr Kocchar for your support over the last two years.”

Tanzil achieved grades A A A and plans to study at Bristol University.

Krishan has been offered a four-year tennis scholarship in America and flies to Michigan tomorrow morning with his rackets packed!

Students taking vocational subjects achieved a 100% pass rate, with 91% of students gaining A* - C in the Institute of Finance Level 3 Diploma.

This year’s high flying vocational students include Bradley Fiddes, who gained the highest grade of D*DD in performing arts and Vestina Gintilaite, Zakiy Hussain, Ruby Nandhra and Manjot Arora gaining D*D in business studies.

Manjot said: “I’ve come a long way and all the hard work has paid off, thanks to my teachers who I won’t forget!”

Zakiy has secured a place at University of West London and said: “I’m amazed; I can’t believe my results. I’ve worked so hard, especially in business!”
