Sports Camp took place at the end of the summer holidays, offering selected students the chance to try out some new sports and enjoy a group trip to tenpin bowling.
The first day was spent at UHS, with students split into teams for a morning of team building and challenge games. They worked brilliantly, doing themselves proud and displaying some excellent strategy and tactics, playing games such as dodgeball and tug-of-war. The afternoon involved more games, including capture the flag and Danish long ball.
Day two started with a trip to tenpin bowling. Great fun was had by all, staff and students alike, with plenty of strikes, including 5 in a row (and a score of over 214) by Mr Emery!
Upon returning to UHS, students had a go at some lacrosse and ultimate Frisbee. It really was a great way to warm-up for an exciting year ahead in PE.
