Uxbridge High School

Sixth Form students attended the Rock Assembly on the 14th July. Rock Assembly 2016 was a fantastic end of term celebration pop concert and careers fair hosted by an educational charity, The Transformation Trust. This was the 6th arena concert hosted by the Trust and free tickets were offered to school that took part in The Transformation Trust programmes.

The aim of The Transformation Trust is to inspire young people to achieve their potential and the event included a Futures Fair – an exhibition featuring universities and employers such as Barclays, Facebook, Nationwide, Pret, Wates and Siemens. It was a great way for young people, of any age, to find out about opportunities and start thinking about what they are interested in.

Once in the arena the students watched the concert, which included artists such as Wstrn, Lethal Bizzle and Youngins.

Overall a very productive year with The Transformation Trust and an excellent careers fair and finished off with a great concert.
