Hot Weather Arrangements

The weather forecast for next week indicates that temperatures will remain warm. At present, there are no plans to make any changes to the school day. However, to help students remain comfortable, they will once again be permitted to attend school wearing their UHS PE kit. Alternatively, students may continue to wear their full school uniform without a blazer or tie.

On Tuesday, we are delighted to welcome our new Year 7 students to Uxbridge High School for their Transition Day. Students will take part in a range of activities, lessons and opportunities to learn more about our school, supported by our Sixth Form student leaders. We understand that some of our current students may wish to accompany younger siblings attending Transition Day to and from school. To support families with these arrangements, students will be dismissed from enrichment activities from 3:15pm on Tuesday afternoon.

I would also like to remind you that our school production of Little Shop of Horrors takes place on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday next week. Tickets can be purchased via our website – www.uhs.org.uk Good luck to all of our students and staff who have worked so hard in preparing for the production—we are very much looking forward to the performances.

Finally, as many of you will be aware, the England v Mexico match is being shown overnight on Sunday into Monday. The school will open slightly earlier on Monday morning, from 7:30am. Students will be able to watch match highlights in the Main Hall and enjoy a free breakfast before the start of the school day.
