Dear parents, carers and students,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to update you on recent events and activities at our school. This week I'm thrilled to share the latest updates and achievements from Uxbridge High School.

The Arts and Academics Unleashed:

Our Year 10 students are making waves with their incredible follow-up to the recent Macbeth production. Meanwhile, Year 11s delved into "An Inspector Calls", broadening their horizons through engaging curricular activities. Congratulations to Year 11 and Year 13 for successfully completing their PPES, including practical subjects.

Literary Triumphs:

Celebrating the literary prowess of our Year 7 students, who participated in a speaking competition. The eloquence and quality of their written work were truly commendable. Parents, take a moment to congratulate these young talents for their outstanding achievements.

Sporting Victories:

Our Year 8 and Year 10 netball teams continue to shine, defeating local opponents and showcasing the spirit of sportsmanship. Kudos to these teams for their dedication and triumphs.

Upcoming Events:

Mark your calendars for the Winter Showcase on December 19th, a mesmerizing event where our students will display their talents. Don't miss the chance to witness a fantastic performance and support our budding artists. The Christmas lunch on the 20th also promises to be a festive celebration.

Insights from Miss Silva:

Miss Silva, our esteemed Assistant Principal and English teacher, shares her passion for working at Uxbridge High School. Her tips for parents include engaging in daily conversations with students about their learning experiences and fostering motivation throughout the academic journey.

As always, I am grateful for your continued support. Stay tuned for more exciting updates, and until next week, have a wonderful weekend!

Take care,
