WE Day

On 6th March, 13 students attended the UK celebration of WE Day - a world-wide gathering of students from all backgrounds who come together to 'Get Doing' for the betterment of their school, their community and the whole world. WE Day is a global movement that was inspired by the tragic death of Iqbal Masih, to create change in an individualised world. WE Day brings large corporations, charitable organisations and schools together to do more for the world around them.

Students heard from Naomi Campbell on the importance of activism as young people; Nicole Scherzinger on empowering yourself through communication; Iskra Lawrence on self-esteem and self-belief and Nadja Swarovski on the importance of maintaining our planet through conserving water. They also heard from the Duke of Sussex.
