Southbank

On Friday 14th December 2018, students from Years 7-10 spent the day at Southbank, learning about the buildings and the history of central London.

The day began with a visit to Somerset House, the bureaucratic centre of London and a small ice-skating jaunt. Following the visit to Somerset House and an ice skating session, students took a wander through Southbank’s historic Christmas market, enjoyed an educational cruise down the river Thames, where the group took in the buildings that surround the river and learnt about the invisible bridge and the country’s smallest jail cell.
