UXBRIDGE HIGH SCHOOL POST 16 RESULTS

Students and staff at Uxbridge High School are delighted with this year’s Sixth Form results, 100% of students achieved examination success. 97% of exams entered received a grade A*- E or equivalent and 37% of the examinations were passed at the highest A*- B grades. Spanish, one of the top performing subjects, celebrated 100% at A*- B. Media (75%), Sociology (56%) and History (45%) also achieved very high proportions of A*- B grades.

This year’s high flying academic students include Ella Ebanks, Kimran Kalal and Arjola Idrizi who have all gained results of A, A, B at A level.

Again 100% of vocational students passed their courses with record numbers achieving D* D*. 93% of students achieved D* or DD* in ICT and 79% of students achieved A* - B in the Institute of Finance Level 3 Diploma.

This year’s high flying vocational students include Aisha McPherson, Sanah Sacranie and Sanije Sylejmani who gained the highest grade of DD * in Performing Arts and Rhys Pearce, Laura Davey and Jagrag Pahal who gained a DD * in Business Studies.

Students were pleased to receive confirmation of their university places. Local universities Brunel and Reading are a popular choice and a large number of students have accepted places at top performing, Russell Group universities. Ella Ebanks has an offer to join the PwC Flying Start degree programme which will enable her to become a chartered account whilst studying at university.
