Music

There are two full time staff in the Music Department and also seven Peripatetic Staff who teach various instruments and singing.  These are:

  • Percussion
  • Piano
  • Brass
  • Woodwind
  • Guitar
  • Indian Instruments
  • Strings
  • Singing

There are also many musical groups that have been formed within the school and these are:

Percussion Ensemble
Brass Ensemble
String Ensemble
Woodwind Ensemble
Guitar Ensemble
Indian Instrument Ensemble and Vocal Groups

Music is taught to all students at KS3 (National Curriculum Music), KS4 (BTEC Level 2) and Sixth Form (Performance Studies).
