Top grades at GCSE have risen yet again at Uxbridge High
Uxbridge High School was full this morning with Year 11 students, their parents, staff and governors to receive GCSE results for 2012.
Once again, Uxbridge High School received excellent results including 75% of students gained A* – C in Mathematics and in ICT 100% of students taking this very important subject gained A* – C, with over 50% gaining A* to A.
The number of students gaining top grades has risen yet again. At an individual level Saalim Tungekar gained 5 A* and 5 A grades, Omar Safi gained 1 A*, 7 As and 2 B grades and Emily Levett gained 9 As and 1 B grade, accompanied by her mum and dad who spoke about how proud they were of their daughter and the outstanding support Uxbridge High had given her.
Mr Lang, Principal, said “this is another excellent set of results. Congratulations must go to all our hardworking students, their families and the dedicated and professional staff at Uxbridge High”.
