Letter from HRH The Prince of Wales

When Prince Charles visited Uxbridge High School earlier this year, he was delighted when a Year 7 student, Daniel Pitts, read a poem he had written to commemorate the event.  Daniel subsequently wrote to the Prince and enclosed a copy of the poem for him.

Today (Friday 20 July), just as school was breaking up for the summer, Daniel received a personal letter from Prince Charles (copy attached) thanking him.  Peter Lang, Principal, said “this is a fantastic accolade for Daniel and his family to receive a personal letter from Prince Charles, but also a fantastic accolade for the school.”

Sarah Herbert, Guidance Leader, said “Daniel is a very talented student and this is recognition of that”.
