Friends of UHS

We are a cheerful and enthusiastic group of parents who established ourselves as a PTA and have been running for about five years.

We work in partnership with Mr Lang, the staff and the local community, helping to strengthen links between these groups by listening, discussing and inputting our ideas together via the Head Teacher.

We are an active group and we participate in a wide range of activities and events. In recent years we have been involved in the catering and other aspects of successful events such as concerts, open evenings, Comic Relief and our exciting annual International Evening. We are also present at all the parents’ consultation evenings and promote and organise special Parent Partnership Workshops, which focus on issues such as study skills, health issues, drugs/alcohol awareness etc. in a friendly but informative context.
